There are a number of partnership/sponsorship/volunteer opportunities at the Calabar International Trade Fair (CITF) that you and your brand/institution can take advantage of. We have identified over 100+ areas for collaboration in all 4 events (Trade Fair, Symposium, Red Carpet and Skill Acquisition Programme) that make up the entire project and these opportunities span multiple sectors. For Sponsors

A sponsor is an entity who believes in the event and will support the event with resources which could be in the form of an asset, machinery, products, services or finance. Sponsorship can range from small to huge. A sponsor hopes to get recognition and brand projection for their contributions to the event.

Sponsors will play huge pre event roles

  • Pre event Roles

A sponsor will be engaged with pre event activities that include financial or material donations, exchanging documentation that convey information regarding deployment and finally executing their end of the marketing and advertising agenda.

 

For Partners

A partner is an entity who will support the event with resources that are designed to make the event work. These resources could be in the form of an asset, machinery, products, services or finance. Partners can range from small to huge. A partner hopes to get recognition and ROI for their contributions to the event.

A partner usually plays huge Pre event, Event and Post Event Roles

  • Pre event Roles

A partner will be engaged with pre event activities that could include pre execution meetings for policy formulation and execution guidelines, financial or material disbursements/deployment and executing their end of the marketing and advertising agenda.

  • Event Roles

A partner will be engaged with event activities that is basically deployment. These activities, for some partners, may be in the months, weeks and days leading up to the actual event(s) stated in the opening paragraphs but is considered Event activities to these partners and a strict adherence to schedule will be enforced.

  • Post event Roles

In the event that event activities with a partner or a group of partners require a return on investment, the partners will engage in post event meetings (where necessary or applicable) for the purpose of disbursements and/or documentation.

 

For Volunteers

A volunteer is an entity who will support the event simply because they believe in it. Simply put, a partner with less obvious ROI, ambitions or expectations They could do this with resources that are designed to make the event work. These resources could be in the form of an asset, machinery, products, services finance or time & effort. Volunteers can range from small to huge.

A Volunteer usually plays huge Pre event, Event and Post Event Roles which usually includes planning and deployment.

CITF, however, has designed a volunteer reward scheme in the form of financial compensation and/or internship/job placement.

Benefits for Sponsors/Partners

Our partners can take advantage of the global reach of our pre-event advertising campaign projected at over 600 million views/reach from combined channels – TV, Radio, Online media, Print Media etc.

The trade fair will utilize up to 180,000 square meters of space at Tinapa – a good opportunity for our collaborators to advertise and push their brands to the over 200,000 attendees.

Our collaborators can take advantage of the combined reach online and unground at the event to sell their products. CITF will make stands/booths available to our sponsors and partners – depending on the degree of collaboration.
